In the month of October, over 20 Belgian companies took Nigeria by storm. A Trade Mission set up by Flanders Investment and Trade company held in Lagos, at the Lagos Continental Hotel on 19th & 20th October 2022.
The visiting delegation included an array of industries, spanning Agriculture & Food Processing, Construction & Infrastructure, Consultancy & Business services E-commerce Energy, Food & Beverages Government Health & Pharma ICT, and several others. The event was set up as one-on-one sessions with companies of interest to discuss the possibilities of B2B partnerships.
Afrimash Company Limited, an agritech company, got the opportunity to meet with agriculture-based companies during this trade mission. A pre-scheduled meeting was arranged between Afrimash, ROAM Technology, and LAMBERS-SEGHERS Company.
ROAM Technology is a Belgian SME with worldwide business operations and reach. They specialize in producing and commercializing bio-products that are useful across the Agriculture field (both horticulture and livestock), medical support, industrial applications, and consumer products. Afrimash’s representatives were able to meet with the founder, Jos Roebben, and discuss business opportunities between both companies.
Afrimash also met with Danny VAN MULLEM, one of the co-founders of LAMBERS-SEGHERS Belgium. LAMBERS-SEGHERS is an independent SME that produces compound feeds for the most important farm animal species (ruminants, pigs, aquaculture, and horses). The company mainly delivers feed to independent farmers and has a strong reputation in customer support, e.g. feed formulas are easily adapted to specific farms’ needs. The company is also involved in R&D projects to create added value for its customers.
Attending this event sits conveniently within Afrimash’s plans as a company with its concerted efforts to provide premium products and services to farmers in Nigeria and beyond.
