ND R2B Vaccine
Newcastle disease virus strain R2B (ND R2B) is a mesogenic vaccine strain used for booster vaccination against Newcastle disease in chickens.
- The R2B vaccine strain is grown on specific pathogen-free (SPF) egg embryo. It is presented in freeze-dried pellet form and supplied with compatible diluent.
- It is indicated for the prevention of Newcastle disease in endemic areas as well as the maintenance of the immune status in growing flocks.
- This product comes with 500mL diluent.
- In order to maintain/preserve the efficacy of this product, always maintain cold chain at 2 – 8⁰C.
- The ND r2b vaccine is for veterinary use only.
ND R2B Vaccine: Administration guide
- Reconstitute the vaccine in a chilled diluent.
- Hold the reconstituted vaccine on ice until it is used.
- Use reconstituted vaccine within one hour.
- Dispose of used containers properly following local regulatory requirements.
- Route of administration: Intramuscular.

- 0.5 ml per bird

Cautions
- Do not vaccinate diseased birds.
- Birds should be free of respiratory diseases and parasite infestations.
- Vaccinate all of the birds on the same premises at the same time.
- Avoid stress conditions during and following vaccination.
- Do not place chickens on contaminated premises.
- Exposure to disease must be minimized as much as possible.
- Use the entire contents when first opened.
- Burn the container and all unused contents.
- Since Newcastle disease virus can cause inflammation of the eyelids of humans (which can last up to three days), care should be taken to avoid contamination of the eyes, hands and clothing with the vaccine.
